Bluffing is an important aspect of poker but there are a couple of players that you should never bluff against. Players that are not good and beginners are players that you should not bluff against. Only good poker players will lay down their hands. Many beginning players and players that do not know the game well do not like to lay down their hand. It is very difficult to pull off a bluff against a player that never lays down their cards. Poor and beginner poker players will want to stay in every hand in order to win, as they are not aware that folding is one of the best things you can do, especially if you have a bad starting hand.

You can semi-bluff, which means that you are betting stronger than the hand you have. A semi-bluff will lure beginners and poor poker players into hands but since you have a decent hand you may hit something when more cards come out. But when you sit down at the table find out, after a few hands are dealt, if the player is a beginner or poor poker player.
